As soon as I felt the best-seller’s material on my actual body and not just in my hands as I stood in the store debating the $84 price tag of sweatpants, I understood all the hype I’d heard from friends, the internet, and fellow shopping editors alike. Spoiler: They’re worth it. You may have heard a fabric described as being “soft as butter” before, but I have to argue that other leggings and sweats simply aren’t in the same league as Vuori’s. The joggers are soft to the touch, moisture-wicking and breathable. I recently traveled in them, and it was the most comfortable I’ve felt on a plane. As for the fit, the joggers have a cropped leg and slim design, making them ideal for pairing with sneakers, boots, or sandals. They feature a drawstring tie at the mid-rise waist, so you can adjust them for a more snug fit, and the elastic waistband is comfortable enough for hours of wear. The joggers also have pockets that can actually hold the weight of a phone without sliding down — which I’ve found to be a surprisingly difficult thing to ask of most joggers and sweatpants. I’ve been wearing them on repeat, and am already trying to narrow down which of the colors I should get next to expand my collection.
