To buy: $50 (was $75); amazon.com. Sure, these warm slippers are made even more cozy with their shearling lining, but there is so much more to love about them than just that. Made from 100 percent Australian sheepskin, they’re pre-treated to protect against stains and repel water, which makes them the ideal choice for cooking, baking, or washing dishes. The rubber sole ensures a non-skid grip and allows for both indoor and outdoor use. I love that I am equally comfortable wearing them while standing for long periods of time as I am while lounging on the couch. I’ve even taken them for a spin around the block on a quick dog walk. The sheepskin lining is breathable, so they’re super warm in the winter, but not too sweaty in the summer (which is my biggest pet peeve about wearing slippers). They’re easy to slip on, and they provide excellent heel support while standing. If you’re on the hunt for your next favorite house shoe, consider grabbing a pair of these Dearfoam Fireside slippers while they’re on sale. It won’t last for long.
